The Grand Rapids Coin Club dates from 1948 and in 2018 we celebrate our 70th year of serving the Grand Rapids Numismatic community! We have about 130 members, with 30-40 attending monthly meetings. We also host two coins shows per year and have an excellent newsletter.
Our monthly meetings are open to all coin collectors, young and old, novice and experienced. We always have several dealers displaying coins; we have a very short business meeting; we have raffles and prizes for both first timers and long standing members; we have an educational speaker; and we have a coin auction. All this in two hours! Annual membership is a bargain at $7.00.
Our meetings are held the fourth Thursday of the month except for November and December. The November meeting is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving; the December meeting is a Christmas Dinner. Join our Facebook Group here: Facebook GR Coin Club
